Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
Fantastic, brilliant beasts and an epic return to a wonderfully detailed, intriguing fantasy world.

Diversity done, if not right, then certainly better than required in an entertaining, action-packed retelling elevated by an excellent cast.
A fun fantasy that builds on the best parts of its prequel but never really breaks out of its shadow. Had they been made the other way around, this would be the superior film. As it is, it's just about good enough.
Truly an awful, awful, awful movie. Next time, just let the aliens kill everyone β it'll be much less painful.
Funny enough. If you like Key & Peele it might be worth a look but you're not missing much if you don't.
A film all kids need to watch and which most adults would benefit from as well. Beautiful story crafting and brilliant characters.Β An instant classic.
Competent and not worthy of the level of hate bestowed on it, but ultimately still a little wide of the mark.
A passable action film, possibly the most coherent of the franchise, but still ultimately disappointing.
Surprisingly boring. Not bad, just not really anything at all; perhaps the definition of soulless?
Good news, everyone! It can be a bit hit and miss, but when it's good it's sheer brilliance, and even when it isn't the show still manages to be consistently inventive and entertaining.
Sublimely well balanced, a perfect culmination of all the varying plot threads across the MCU and a cross-over event that rivals the source material itself. Practically perfect!
A decent enough origin story and arguably a more interesting plot than the live-action equivalent, but ultimately a little hollow.
